Our first recipe with our newest flavour SRIRACHA. If you are looking for that sweet heat - we've got you!
f you haven’t tried marinating you’re veggies before, you NEED to. It makes them so much better!
For the marinade you’ll need to mix the following in a bowl:
1 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup lemon juice
5 cloves minced garlic
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tbsp SRIRACHA SEA SPICE
For the veggies, slice up an orange bell pepper, a yellow bell pepper, a red bell pepper, and 1/2 a large red onion. Slice a block of firm tofu into cubes.
In a large bowl (or two medium bowls if you don’t have a bowl large enough), add in the tofu and veggies, plus some cherry tomatoes, and pour the marinade in, cover, and shake to coat everything. Put it in the fridge and let marinate for 12-14 hours (or longer if you want, it’ll just taste better!)
For the skewers, add the veggies and tofu, and fry in a large skillet for 4-5 minutes per side, or until it’s crispy. I also added in some of the leftover marinade to the pan while they were cooking, I recommend doing the same!
You can also grill on the bbq, but make sure you soak the skewers beforehand so they don’t burn.
