The crew here at Kove believes in creating a better world. We all have the opportunity to do this in the choices we make daily, and we know that you want to do your part too. As such, we want to make one of your daily decisions a little easier. This is why we make all of our snacks and seasonings out of one of the world’s most sustainable crops: marine sea plants known as seaweed!
Oh, and they happen to be healthy and delicious too!

We are a crew of caring, ambitious, young(ish) entrepreneurs looking to lessen climate impact with our creations. We know the factors affecting climate change are real, we know the benefits of mindful, healthy eating (and that that is not always an easy task with today’s on-the-go lifestyle). 

We come from diverse backgrounds, with one key element that has connected us - knowing we can do more and wanting to do better. 

Search for “seaweed” online and you will find countless articles outlining the benefits of one of the world's most sustainable crops. Nutritionally - it outweighs most vegetables in what it provides, which is why we, at Kove, have been thinking - does it not deserve a name more satisfying? 

Sea-plants and Sea-veggies sound a little more appealing (and edible, quite frankly!) which is exactly why we do what we do - create delicious and highly nutritious sea-veggie snacks for the masses.

Seaweed is a completely sustainable crop. It doesn’t need soil, fresh water, or fertiliser to grow (see below for even more)!

Currently, our seaweed is sourced locally from farms that plant, grow, cultivate and harvest seaweed in partnership with BC First Nations and provide economic opportunities for Indigenous and coastal communities.
