The 4 of us have come together to continue to harness the power of seaweed and enrich the lives of people and the planet. Together, we bring a collective 30 years of consumer product goods (CPG) experience scaling ‘better for you’ brands in the natural product industry. We are committed to building a well-loved food brand powered by seaweed; an ultra sustainable, regenerative, low impact, highly nutritious crop.
We’re here to help empower YOU with products that are actually good for the planet, good for the community and good for us.

MEET TRAV
Where are you from, where did you grow up? Grew up in the California suburbs of LA county (Santa Clarita), but moved to the beach as soon as I could and have lived by the water ever since. Santa Cruz > Vancouver > Ventura > Silver Strand > Cambria
What is your hidden talent, what are you surprisingly good at? I know every line to multiple masterpieces of American cinema. Most notably Point Break, Starship Troopers & Roadhouse.
What are you really bad at? I am comically bad at bowling and have no sense of direction.
What flavour of Puff is your fave? BBQ with Umami coming in a close 2nd.
What flavour of Sea Spice is your fave? OG all day every day.
If you could only eat one food/meal for the rest of your life what would it be? Burritos. Gotta love a full meal that is portable.
What do you want to be when you grow up, what is your burning desire/ passion project? I don’t want to grow up.
Where is your favourite place in the world? I haven’t found mine yet. When I find it, I’ll start looking for my new favourite.
Coffee or tea? Coffee How do you take your coffee? Black
Would you rather be hot or cold? Cold - it’s easier to get warmer when it’s cold. Not much you can do if it’s too hot.
Are you a morning person or night owl? I try to be both, which means I’m neither.
Sweet or savoury? Savoury
Fun fact about seaweed? The Aran islands off the West coast of Ireland have no naturally occurring topsoil. Bronze Age settlers used a combo of sand and seaweed to make the land arable.

Where are you from, where did you grow up? Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario. Now a Canadian in California.
What is your hidden talent, what are you surprisingly good at? I have an amazing sense of direction. Once I have been to a place I know how to get there again.
What are you really bad at? I cannot read a map to save my life.
What flavour of Puff is your fave? Umami all the way!
What flavour of Sea Spice is your fave? Original on eggs and avocado toast. Sriracha on burritos.
If you could only eat one food/meal for the rest of your life what would it be? Toast, Avocado toast, all the varieties of toasts.
What do you want to be when you grow up, what is your burning desire/ passion project? My passion is in creating a harmonious life where work, travel, love, all experiences are not separate but one thing. Kove is exactly that!
Where is your favourite place in the world? Wherever my favourite people are at.
Coffee or tea? Coffee How do you take your coffee? Small 8oz Cappuccino and a croissant.
Would you rather be hot or cold? I would rather be hot. I am never warm enough.
Are you a morning person or night owl? I love a calming morning routine watching the sunrise, doing yoga, sipping on coffee and building a fire.
Sweet or savoury? Savoury but also always want to follow it up with a small sweet treat.
Fun fact about seaweed: It only needs the sun and the sea to grow.
Bucket list place: Grasse, a small town in France known as the perfume capital of the world.

She’s our poetic, beautiful, kind, wise, young-hearted old soul. She values harmony, inclusion and freedom and she makes you feel like you’re being hugged by a soft, warm blanket whenever you are around her. As one of our new owners, we’re lucky to be in her hands.
MEET KOR Where are you from, where did you grow up? Hope BC, small town girl forever, still my happy place
What is your hidden talent, what are you surprisingly good at? I know every word to most 90’s country songs. Also I’m excellent at lighting rooms to be perfectly cozy
What are you really bad at? Telling stories. I’m the worst. I panic and forget all relevant details

If you could only eat one food/meal for the rest of your life what would it be? Anything with cheese and bread
What do you want to be when you grow up, what is your burning desire/ passion project? Doing EXACTLY this. Working with my favourite people to build something we're passionate about and makes things better than we found it.
Where is your favourite place in the world? Hope BC, specifically my parents' back yard where the mountains feel like they’re giving you a hug.

Would you rather be hot or cold? Always would rather be hot
Are you a morning person or night owl? Mornings are my jam. Especially summer mornings

Favourite Kove Core Value? Riding the wave - I believe I’m this whole heartedly. Work hard but don’t push, accept what comes to you and make the best of all of it
Bucket list trip / travel destination? not sure on location but somewhere warm where we can have slow morning coffees in the sun
Happiest when: with my family and all of our dogs in Hope, in the sun around a fire or the pool just doing nothing together

Where are you from? I grew up in Aldergrove. My parents still live in the same house and my aunt and uncle live across the street!
What is your hidden talent? I never forget a face.
What are you really bad at? Details and anything to do with remembering details.
What flavour of Puff is your fave? BBQ.
What flavour of Sea Spice is your fave? Lemon. I love it in salads and roasted potatoes.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life what would it be? Plant-based vegan sushi.
What is your passion project? I created @voes_and_co out of my frustration with the lack of ethically made, sustainable designer footwear available. I created a brand that I thought could be the global icon for veganism - which for me is a movement based on love and compassion - I’ve started with designer footwear; Chelsea boots made with Cactus leather.
Where is your favourite place in the world? ITALY. I also love Buenos Aires and New York!
Coffee or tea? I love the idea of coffee, I’m a sucker for coffee culture but I prefer tea. How do you take your tea? Matcha green tea latte with soy extra hot, no sweetener.
Would you rather be hot or cold? Hot, bring on the 30-35 degree weather.
Are you a morning person or night owl? I’m becoming more of a morning person.. there’s something about being awake in the stillness when things are quiet.
Sweet or savoury? Savoury but also dark chocolate after every meal.
Fun fact about seaweed: It is so packed with nutrients it gives back to ocean life as it grows.
Bucket list place: My bucket list place was Argentina; I just spent 4 months there and also got to see all of the major cities in South America. Next I’d love to call in a wellness retreat in a magical location.
Favourite Kove Value: I’m grateful to be working with a team that values making things easy, not pushing and trusting the flow of life.. Our value of knowing when to ride the wave or wait for the next one.
Happiest when: on a rooftop in the sunshine with a spectacular ocean view.
